Exhibition Facilities



The exhibition facilities of Kyungsung University consist of the exhibition hall of wild birds, the Art Gallery, and the University Museum. The Exhibition Hall of Wild Birds is located on the B1 level of the Multimedia and information Building. There are over 1000 specimens representing 270 different species of birds, most of which are native to Korea. Specimens of eggs and nests are also preserved here, along with many rare documents. It has become a popular destination for many students on nature field trips. The Art Gallery was one of the first University museums in the country to be registered as a first-class art museum. It is equipped with the latest lighting facilities. Besides providing a space for artistic research and production, the Art Gallery also has many special exhibitions. The University Museum opened in March 1972. It serves as a research center for Kaya culture. In the exhibition room one can get a feeling for the roots of Korean Culture by viewing objects dating from the Stone Age through the Chosun Dynasty.
